Team XS Energy sit on top after day 1

Miami (FL), USA (March 11th, 2017) – Day one of the Miami Winter Series third event began with light, flat conditions on Biscayne Bay. Two short races were completed for the morning pro-am regatta and guests had enough wind to fly a hull, but not too much where people got wet! A 4-6 knot sea breeze filled in for the first two official races from the East and eventually built to 10-12 knots giving racers 5 stellar races. Team XS Energy with guest driver Drew Wierda proved most consistent and currently leads the event with 15 points.
